Pharmacology for non Liberals

The girl-child was caught traveling on a train early last year without a current student ID. She explained to the train police that she is still a student, but hadn't been to the University for the 2004 year to renew her student card.
She was informed by said train police that they have to issue an infringement notice which involves a $200.00 fine. They advised her to write to her local MP.

She wrote to her local (Liberal) MP who advised that it has to go to another (Liberal) MP.

Today, a letter arrives advising the girl-child of the court date to hear this matter. Fuck, now we (girl-child and parental dyad) are meeting with the Liberal MP.

My question is what drugs should I take to survive being in the same room as a Liberal MP?
  1. Anti-histamine?
  2. Anti-nausea medication?
  3. Analgesics?
  4. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory?
  5. Prokinetic agents?
  6. Anti-fungal medication?
  7. Lysergic acid diethylamide?
  8. All of the above?

Umm... why a Lib MP??? I mean, what with the grey shirts being the providence of a "Labor" state govt?

Geez that whole Carr govt pisses me off... I can't believe I once spent valuable weekend time actually criss-crossing the suburbs of sydney, doorknocking and pamphleteering pre-election for that mob and by choice.

You really dont want to over medicate - but prevention is the best cure and all that so stick with the bare essentials: the Anti-histamine- to prevent the inevitable allergic reaction, the Anti-nausea medication - to prevent the inevitable need to vomit reaction and oh the Anti-fungal medication is an absolute must - best get some topical cream there as well - or wear gloves.

Funny, exactly the same thing happened to me as a student, many moons ago. But no meetings with MPs - I went to court and paid the fine.

Thanks guys,
The Lombard Apothacary will be suitably stocked with appropriate medicinal substances (+propellant yay Barista) to survive this meeting.
As for paying the fine, that's always an option, but we're using all our money on drugs!
